Lakewood J-56 Custom Jumbo AAAA European Spruce/ Koa Pre-Loved 2016

This is a 2016 Custom shop Lakewood hand built in Germany.

If you're looking for fantastic projection with bucket loads of warmth and sparkle this guitar is the one you! Lakewood have been established since 1986 and produce extremely high quality premium acoustic guitars, the custom builds are hand picked timbers made with an eye for detail. This J-56 has a beautifully figured book matched Koa back and sides topped with a bright and full AAAA European spruce soundboard. The ebony fingerboard is super smooth on a mahogany neck and the body bound with snakewood.

This guitar has been played and does have signs of play throughout, there are patches of buckle rash on the back which can been seen when looked for and the odd mark here and there commensurate with 8 years of play. Some wear can been seen below the rosette on the high E end from finger picking but, this is purely cosmetic. No fret wear, the strap button has been moved from the heel to under the neck for playability as shown. The good ones get played and this guitar has been loved, really comes to life in DADGAD which opens a whopping bass return. Fitted with an LR Baggs Anthem, which gives a natural amplified voice to this guitar too. A true players instrument, comes with a Hiscox hard case and original sales details/spec and receipt and Lakewood suede strap.
