Lakestone Fan Fret Custom Handmade In The UK Wenge/Red Western Cedar With Pale Moon Ebony Fretboard

This is a totally unique custom made acoustic guitar from Lakestone acoustics hand crafted in the UK made to order. Hand crafted by a father son team, Lakestone guitars offer every possibly customisation your heart can desire and this guitar has them all! The back & sides are made of figured Wenge, Wenge is a rigid, stable and strong wood which provides warm low tones and medium tones delivering a very focused voicing to an instrument. Topped with a red western cedar soundboard adding volume to this stunning and unusual mix of timbers and all finished with a pale moon ebony fretboard. The rosette is crafted from end sawn maple and edged with firey abalone, the body has both a front and back bevel in flamed maple, which adds comfort to the playing experience along with a fantastic aesthetic.

This guitar has a sound portal shaped into the upper bout, which allows the sound to project up towards the player as well as forwards from the soundhole. The fan fret acoustic has become the Lakestone signature design feature, which creates a longer scale length on the lower strings allowing for stable down-tuning and a huge rounded bass response.

Although this nguitar is pre-loved it is a very recent build and comes in near new condition with a Hiscox hardcase.
